I
am a member of the Houston Obedience Training Dog Club, Inc. (see LINKS

I began actively training dogs in 1994, and since then my dogs, and others I have shown, have earned 235 titles including 67 obedience titles, 8 tracking titles, 42 agility titles, 22 hunting/water titles, 27 canine good citizens and 69 breed titles. In addition, dogs that NEWPoint has produced have earned 75 titles including 15 obedience titles, 13 agility titles, 12 hunting/water titles, 9 canine good citizens and 26 breed titles. I truly enjoy training and showing dogs. I was the President of the Houston Obedience Training Dog Club for the 2008-2009, and 2009-2010 years. I received the HOT Dog Club’s Good Sportsman Award for the years 1999-2000 and 2007-2008, was Training Director for the 2004-2005 year and the 2009-2010 year, and was the Gulf Coast German Shorthaired Pointer Club's Sportsman of the Year for 2006. |

|
| Through
the years, I have had a variety of dogs, but the only dogs I have at the
moment are
German Shorthaired Pointers.
I obtained my first GSP in 1996 from Caijoy GSPs, and then later
added three of my breed GSPs from Ehrenvogel Shorthairs .

accomplishments under ABOUT THE DOGS. |
